Robert Kubica remains realistic about his chances of victory in the drivers’ championship; he believes that the two teams, Ferrari and McLaren, are ahead of his own team, BMW Sauber.<\/p>\n
The Pole has just won his first Formula 1 race at the Canadian Grand Prix.<\/p>\n
After the first seven races of the season, Kubica has a four-point lead over Lewis Hamilton from McLaren and Felipe Massa from Ferrari.<\/p>\n
But the BMW driver believes that defending his position will not be easy.<\/p>\n
\u00ab It’s very nice to be the leader of the championship after seven races, but to win the championship, you have to be the leader after 18 races, \u00bb said Kubica during the Barcelona tests.<\/p>\n
