A few days ago, BMW-Sauber achieved a remarkable one-two finish at the Canadian Grand Prix. It was a first for the team, which was also eagerly anticipating its first race win, marking a brief double success.<\/p>\n
Even though Robert Kubica once again finished ahead of his teammate, Nick Heidfeld, the latter is improving and wishes to continue improving in the future. It is for this reason that the German driver requested to participate in the tests in Barcelona last week. And why not another victory for the German team?<\/p>\n

I love the Magny-Cours track and also the rural setting. I’m quite lucky since I spend the GP weekend here every year in a small castle. Among the features of this circuit, two high-speed corners can be mentioned.<\/p>\n
\u00ab The circuit has been modified in certain places, and the last chicane does not align at all with the spirit of the rest of the track. \u00bb<\/p>\n
Robert Kubica – Racing Driver:<\/b><\/p>\n
For many people, Magny-Cours is quite a boring place, but I like this circuit. It’s the place where I came back to the forefront last year after my accident. It’s an interesting track because it has all kinds of corners, high-speed, low-speed, high-speed chicanes, a hairpin, and sharp braking.<\/p>\n
\u00ab I am therefore looking forward to the race, hoping that I can do my best as I have done in most of the Grand Prix since the beginning of the season. I hope that new improvements on the car will help us close the gap with Ferrari and McLaren. My goal is to score as many points as possible and to always be in a strong position after the race. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab We celebrated our first-ever double win in Montreal, but it did not interfere with our preparations for the French Grand Prix. \u00bb<\/p>\n
The atmosphere of the races in Monaco and Montreal is special, but personally, I also enjoy the rural setting of the Nevers circuit. The track is very demanding, and the atmosphere in the paddocks has its own charm. I will never forget in 2001 the moment when we achieved the first pole position with BMW since their return to Formula 1.<\/p>\n

\u00ab A good car with an acceptable level of stability plays an important role. The Adelaide hairpin at the end of the long straight is the ideal place to overtake. \u00bb<\/p>\n
