Lewis Hamilton will give himself a new opportunity to make an impression on his audience next month by performing a demonstration with his McLaren during the DTM event at Brands Hatch.<\/p>\n
Fresh off his victory at the British Grand Prix, Hamilton has confirmed that he will be behind the wheel of his single-seater at Brands Hatch on August 31 when the DTM stops in the UK for a weekend.<\/p>\n
\u00ab I am really looking forward to participating in a DTM race again, \u00bb said Hamilton.<\/p>\n
\u00ab I have fond memories of this period when I took part in the Formula 3 Euro Series, which is managed as a support event for DTM races. \u00bb<\/p>\n
\u00ab I really love the atmosphere of the DTM. I really enjoyed my 2005 season when I became the Formula 3 Euro Series champion and when the Mercedes-Benz DTM team celebrated their title won at Zandvoort. \u00bb<\/p>\n
The boss of the Brands Hatch circuit, Jonathan Palmer, added: \u00ab We are obviously delighted that Lewis is joining us at Brands Hatch for the DTM event in August. \u00bb<\/p>\n
