The Red Bull Racing driver claims that Piquet’s career-best result should be an embarrassment to the sport and hopes it will serve as a catalyst for teams and the FIA to make changes to the regulations.<\/p>\n
\u00ab The safety car caused a strange result and I think the rules concerning it are a joke, \u00bb wrote Webber in his column for the BBC.<\/p>\n
\u00ab I am happy for Renault and their driver Nelson Piquet as he finishes second in the race, especially given the start of the season they had. However, F1 is more professional than this and the sport should have regulations that are up to its standards, which is not the case currently. \u00bb<\/p>\n
\u00ab It seems bizarre when a guy finishes second knowing he started from 17th place and only overtook one car, that of Kazuki Nakajima because he made a small mistake. For me, that’s not Formula 1. \u00bb<\/p>\n
\u00ab Nelson would be the first to say he didn’t deserve that second place. \u00bb<\/p>\n
