McLaren has promoted a long-time manager within the Woking team, appointing Dave Ryan as the sporting director.<\/p>\n
Ryan joined McLaren as a mechanic in 1974 and after progressing through the positions of chief mechanic and factory manager, he became team manager in 1990.<\/p>\n
