Renault was on track today for its second day of work at the Jerez circuit, near Seville. Based on the tests conducted yesterday by Romain Grosjean, Nelson Piquet on track today tackled the core of the subject and easily covered various elements of the development program planned for this session.<\/p>\n
It was in scorching conditions that this second day of testing took place, with nearly 48\u00b0C on the track. After setup tests in the morning, Nelson then focused on suspension and brake tests, which went smoothly.<\/p>\n
At the end of the day, with a total of 99 laps completed, Nelson can be satisfied with having made good progress in his program. He will be on track again tomorrow before handing over the wheel of the R28 to Romain Grosjean for the last day of testing this week.<\/p>\n

\u00ab It was very hot again today, which made the car’s balance more delicate. The tires also suffer more and wear out faster in these conditions. However, we made good progress in fine-tuning the single-seater this morning and were able to successfully carry out several tests. Everything went well. \u00bb<\/p>\n
