A few days later, here he is in Monza, on Italian soil, facing a crowd deeply connected to Ferrari.<\/p>\n
The two drivers of the Scuderia are the stars of the weekend, and the delicate sporting situation doesn’t diminish the love they receive for a second. Charles Leclerc, Ferrari’s protege who has been supported by them since his earliest years, is obviously the darling of the fans, having won at Monza in 2019.<\/p>\n
Carlos Sainz, neither Italian nor nurtured at Ferrari, is receiving (a bit) fewer requests than his teammate. At least, that was the case before the Spaniard started being the fastest this weekend. His surprise pole position, by 13 thousandths ahead of Verstappen, has made the stands at the circuit explode.<\/p>\n
