He finished the race just behind Heikki Kovalainen’s McLaren, also taking advantage of the mechanical problems of Massa and Hamilton.<\/p>\n
Glock managed to withstand the pressure exerted by Kimi R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen at the end of the race, and with incredible maturity, he achieved his first good result in Formula 1.<\/p>\n
\u00ab It’s incredible. I couldn’t believe it when I saw Felipe Massa’s engine fail, and as a result, I took second place. I was under pressure from Kimi, with soft tires, and I gave it my all to resist. We knew since Friday that the soft tires would be difficult to control, \u00bb acknowledged Glock.<\/p>\n

Glock admitted that no fault was possible because R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen was faster.<\/p>\n
