The greatest rewards were the driver and constructor titles won in 2005 and 2006.<\/p>\n<p>He left his position last June and passed away peacefully at his home today.<\/p>\n<p>Toso entered the world of motorsport in 1995, working as an engineer on the BMW GT program before continuing his career at Jordan in 1997 alongside Mike Gascoyne.<\/p>\n<p>He then joined the French team at the end of the 2000 season and was promoted to head of aerodynamics in 2003.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement from Renault F1 Team: \u00ab His contribution to the team, both through his results and his courage in facing illness, is a source of inspiration.
