{"id":25791,"date":"2008-08-30T05:32:54","date_gmt":"2008-08-30T05:32:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/6455-doubt-takes-over-nurburgring"},"modified":"2008-08-30T05:32:54","modified_gmt":"2008-08-30T05:32:54","slug":"6455-doubt-takes-over-nurburgring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/6455-doubt-takes-over-nurburgring","title":{"rendered":"Doubt takes over the Nurburgring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Formula 1 race at the Nurburgring could be a distant memory if the FIA decides to get rid of the ADAC, which controls the German automobile association (DMSB), during a meeting set to take place on October 7th.<\/p>\n<p>The FIA is expected to meet in an extraordinary assembly in Paris in October to examine the behavior of the ADAC, which decided to sever its relationship with the governing body at the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The ADAC held a very firm position regarding Mosley&#8217;s involvement in the spring&#8217;s sexual scandal. Following his victory in the vote of confidence in June, the German automobile body declared it would no longer want to cooperate with the FIA as long as Mosley is in power.<\/p>\n<p>This position jeopardizes the future of the DMSB with respect to its national sports authority.<\/p>\n<p>A letter from Pierre de Coninck, general secretary of FIA Sport, confirmed that the sporting authority in Germany raises questions that will be discussed in a meeting.<\/p>\n<p>One possibility would be for the FIA to react to the ADAC&#8217;s position and decide to promote its rival; the Automobil von Deutschland (AVD) as the German authority for this sport.
