Richard Cregan, the Manager of Team Toyota, will leave his position at the end of November.<\/p>\n
The Cregan team said it has decided to move forward and take on a new role in another motorsport country and that Cregan’s new position would be confirmed in due course.<\/p>\n
At forty-eight years old, Cregan joined Toyota twenty-four years ago as a rally mechanic. Jens Marquardt, who has been working at Toyota Motorsport since 2000 in the engine engineering department, will replace Cregan.<\/p>\n
“We are very sad to lose a team member with such qualities, but we understand his reasons and wish him the best of luck in his new challenge,” said Tadashi Yamashina, the team director, yesterday.<\/p>\n
