This information comes directly from the city&#8217;s mayor.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the German Grand Prix accumulated a deficit of 5.3 million euros, and the mayor of Hockenheim, Dieter Gummer, clearly stated that this financial situation could not continue.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab The continuation of the Formula 1 Grand Prix beyond 2010 with the current agreement is not commercially viable, \u00bb he stated to the Mannheimer Morgen newspaper.<\/p>\n<p>Hockenheim is scheduled to host the German Grand Prix until 2010.
