McLaren and especially Mercedes-Benz are in talks with Force India to supply engines for the small Indian team.<\/p>\n<p>The deal should have been concluded in the days following the Japanese Grand Prix. However, the cost-cutting measures that are set to be implemented have raised uncertainties about the feasibility of an agreement.<\/p>\n<p>It is understood that the British team must wait for clarification from the FIA to find out whether the agreement is feasible and authorized.<\/p>\n<p>During the recent Chinese Grand Prix, Dennis stated that McLaren still needed to work on the details of the agreement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab We are doing it to help an independent team.
