{"id":25618,"date":"2008-10-28T17:12:09","date_gmt":"2008-10-28T17:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/6632-bmw-leads-race-for-introduction-of-kers"},"modified":"2008-10-28T17:12:09","modified_gmt":"2008-10-28T17:12:09","slug":"6632-bmw-leads-race-for-introduction-of-kers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/6632-bmw-leads-race-for-introduction-of-kers","title":{"rendered":"BMW leads the race for the introduction of KERS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Christian Klien, test driver at BMW-Sauber, believes that his team is the most advanced in its preparations for the introduction of KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems) planned for next year.<\/p>\n<p>Despite an incident at the beginning of the year that saw a mechanic get electrocuted, Klien believes that BMW-Sauber is on schedule according to its timeline.<\/p>\n<p>The Austrian believes that the team will once again take a step forward during the six days of testing scheduled between the end of the season and Christmas.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab It goes without saying that each team tries to maintain its original schedule. I am certain that BMW is the most advanced among all the teams, \u00bb declared Klien on the official BMW-Sauber website.<\/p>\n<p>All teams will not have KERS next year since it is optional, but those that start the season with it will certainly have an advantage. We are really going to start getting familiar with this system during the winter testing after Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>The F1 teams have delayed the mandatory introduction of KERS for 2010. This decision was made during a meeting in China. The German team refused to approve this change.
