Test driver Luca Badoer conducted a series of private tests on November 11 at the Fiorano circuit in Italy. For the occasion, the Scuderia’s single-seater was renamed F2008K.<\/p>\n
The Italian test driver was able to get behind the wheel of a modified F2008 on Tuesday, designated as the F2008K. This code name, of course, refers to the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS).<\/p>\n
These tests will help prepare for the integration of this system next year on the F2009, which will be presented to the international press in early January.<\/p>\n
The reigning world champion team is also counting on the tests scheduled in Barcelona from November 17 to 19 to improve the current system. A strict regimen will be imposed.
