He receives a check for over 57,000 euros and a test drive in a McLaren F1. As the winner, he follows in the footsteps of British drivers David Coulthard and Jenson Button. Winning this award marks a decisive turning point in the career of the 20-year-old driver.<\/p>\n<p>The McLaren team was rewarded according to their year as the MP4\/23 was voted Car of the Year in the F1 category.<\/p>\n<p>Sebastian Vettel is the rookie of the year after his incredible season with Toro Rosso. The Brazilian Grand Prix was awarded as the &#8216;moment of the year&#8217;.
