S\u00e9bastien Buemi for Toro Rosso was invincible during this week of testing in Jerez, Spain. He once again set the fastest time this Thursday, ahead of his teammate for the day, Takuma Sato.<\/p>\n

The two drivers set their respective times at the end of the morning when track conditions were the best. They had to impress their bosses as much as possible to secure a spot on the team for 2009.<\/p>\n

Heikki Kovalainen for McLaren continued his testing work by focusing more on aerodynamics and the setup of the MP4-23A. He achieved the third fastest time of the day.<\/p>\n

His teammate Pedro de la Rosa tested the KERS in his car but only completed 47 laps. He finished 8th overall.<\/p>\n

Kimi R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen was the fastest of the two Ferrari drivers with a fourth place just ahead of his teammate Felipe Massa.<\/p>\n

At Renault, it was Fernando Alonso who was on duty. He is sixth after continuing tests on the 2009 Bridgestone tires.<\/p>\n

The seventh fastest time of the day was recorded by Nico Rosberg from Williams, the only representative from the Grove team, while the BMW-Sauber duo, Robert Kubica and Christian Klien, finished at the bottom of the timesheets. They focused on 2009 aerodynamics and the KERS.<\/p>\n
