Formula 1 fans around the world are calling for more overtaking in the sport. A majority believe that the cars and tracks need to be improved to help meet this demand.<\/p>\n
This is one of the key messages that emerged from the results of a survey conducted by ING\/F1 Racing. It was conducted among 70,000 fans from 160 different countries.<\/p>\n
Speaking of their expectations for the future of F1, 96% of respondents want more exciting races and numerous overtakes. 81% say that cars should be modified to achieve this goal and 70% approve modifications to the circuits.<\/p>\n
The survey results suggest that the quality of the race remains the key factor for fans. However, a large majority (90%) wants to keep the sport’s must-see events, 88% want more emphasis on the drivers’ skills, and 83% believe that the sport should always be the pinnacle of technology.<\/p>\n
Despite this enthusiasm for technology, only 35% of the panel believe it is the most exciting aspect of F1.<\/p>\n
Television remains the preferred way to follow Formula 1, with 97% of fans watching it this way this year. However, the internet is not far behind, with 93% using online resources to follow the sport.<\/p>\n
The internet is the main channel of information for Formula 1 fans who want to stay updated. 90% visit specialized sites like www.casinoenligne.uk.com, whereas in 2006, only 87% did.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
