It&#8217;s like when you win a race, you have much more confidence in yourself. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I believe that in 2009, I will keep the same goals as when I started in Formula 1. I want to be world champion. I shouldn&#8217;t tell myself that I am already world champion; I am sitting here saying I want to be a world champion, \u00bb stated the Briton.<\/p>\n<p>Hamilton will never forget his performances in 2008 but does not wish to rest on his laurels either.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Of course, there are moments I&#8217;m very proud of. I sometimes see myself again at a finish line, seeing the checkered flag and securing a victory, or conversely a bad race. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab That being said, I try not to live in the past. It was a fantastic season, I am a world champion. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>He added that he had learned from his mistakes last year, but felt that occasional mistakes are part of learning.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I analyzed the mistakes I made in 2008, such as the problem I had on the starting grid in Montreal,&#8221; said Hamilton.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I&#8217;m sure that this year, too, there will be mistakes that will come as a surprise.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Even the oldest man in the world is still learning things today.
