According to them, they already have the approval of Bernie Ecclestone and Max Mosley, president of the FIA.<\/p>\n<p>The duo officially launched USF1 at a live press conference on SpeedTV yesterday, Tuesday. The team will be operational by 2010 or even earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Windsor stated that the FIA and the Formula One Management (FOM) had been informed of the USF1 plans.<\/p>\n<p>I first spoke to Bernie Ecclestone during the 2006 Brazilian Grand Prix. He just said, &#8216;to make a great team.&#8217; So, I said &#8216;okay&#8217; and got to work.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab He has stayed in contact since then and has always been supportive of the project. Whatever we need, he has tried to get it for us. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab The FIA was also informed in detail about five to six months ago.
