Often, teams bring new mechanical parts for their drivers at each Grand Prix. And Singapore is no exception to the rule.<\/p>\n<p>For this 15th race of the season, only AlphaTauri came with new components. The Italian team installed a new gearbox in both drivers&#8217; cars. Therefore, Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda have each received a third component this season.<\/p>\n<p>They stay within the quota set by the FIA regulations, which state that each year, a driver can only use four gearbox units. Beyond this limit, they receive a five-place grid penalty.<\/p>\n<p>The AlphaTauri drivers therefore have some room to complete this exercise in 2023, unless a major accident damages the mechanics of the cars.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The two drivers of the Italian team will have a third gearbox this season.
