This last event holds good memories since Kubica finished second not more than a year ago. To date, BMW may not have the level it had last year. It remains acceptable nonetheless, especially since the Polish driver should have achieved a podium in Australia last Sunday if Vettel hadn’t gotten involved…<\/p>\n

\u00ab The Malaysian Grand Prix always represents something very special, because with Petronas, it’s like a home race for us. We have many fans in Malaysia, and racing here brings a very special feeling. The race went very well for me in 2008. Of course, I hope we can achieve a better result. \u00bb<\/p>\n
I really look forward to competing in this GP. The track has a wide variety of corners, some are very fast, while others are very slow. In certain places, you can opt for different racing lines, which makes this course particularly interesting.<\/p>\n
\u00ab The final sector is very different from the other two because there are just two long straights and a rather abrupt braking zone. This track really offers everything, which requires a perfect car. There is a fairly high chance of rain. \u00bb<\/p>\n
Nick Heidfeld – Racing Driver<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00ab For me, Sepang is a nice circuit but quite difficult. Last year, I managed to make some good overtakes. The heat and humidity are always two extremely important factors. However, I have never had a direct problem because of these conditions. \u00bb<\/p>\n
\u00ab This year, as in Australia, the race start time is different. I hope there will be enough light until the checkered flag. I’ve always had the impression of being very comfortable in Malaysia. We have commitments with Petronas here on Tuesday and Wednesday before the official start of the weekend. Of course, there’s a visit to the Kuala Lumpur ‘Twin Towers’ included. These towers fascinate me every time I see them, especially at night when they are lit up. \u00bb<\/p>\n
