The German and Kubica were fighting for second place in Melbourne.<\/p>\n<p>However, the situation is not clear regarding whether the FIA wishes to review the penalty, but Red Bull Racing, through its team principal Christian Horner, clarified that no formal request had been made by the team.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Alan Donnelly requested to have a discussion with Sebastian, \u00bb stated Horner.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab For my part, I think the penalty was harsh. We believe it&#8217;s a racing incident. Sebastian defended his position, and I believe they will discuss it during the hearing. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Horner had stated in Australia that there was no possibility of protesting this decision in Malaysia. It is for this reason that Red Bull did not file an appeal.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab There is no mechanism, \u00bb he explained. \u00ab We had the right to appeal in Australia but no longer in Malaysia.
