In an interview given yesterday on the regional news of France 3 Paris \u00cele-de-France, Pierre B\u00e9dier wanted to reaffirm the viability of his Formula 1 circuit project in Flins, thus refuting the statements made by Jean-Louis Borloo the day before.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, we informed you that the Minister of the Environment, Jean-Louis Borloo, spoke against the F1 project in Flins: Yvelines F1. The minister confirmed on BFM TV that the issue was resolved, indicating that there would be no new circuit in the Yvelines. (see the article for more information<\/a><\/b>)<\/p>\n

In the evening of April 7, Pierre B\u00e9dier, President of the Yvelines General Council, thus wanted to respond to Mr. Borloo by stating that the project was still alive and feasible.<\/p>\n

\u00ab It should be noted that it is the role of the Minister of the Environment, and conversely, we have the support of the Minister of Sports. After that, it’s a matter for the authorities, and the Prime Minister will decide… \u00bb thus referring to Mr. Fillon’s interest in motorsports and particularly Formula 1.<\/p>\n
