Trulli and Glock are aiming for the podium, the engineers are focusing on the car’s grip and balance. The situation has changed, but so has the diffuser issue. Now everything is legalized, and teams will quickly want to get back up to speed. The miracle diffuser could once again make the difference this weekend, and the main competitors will once again be Brawn GP and Williams. \u00ab I am very optimistic for the Chinese Grand Prix because we had a very good start to the season. It really shows the progress we have made this season. Last year in Malaysia I almost made it to the podium and didn’t succeed, this year, it was different. \u00bb<\/p>\n
\u00ab We are currently second in the constructors’ championship and with Timo [Glock], we have always fought at the forefront so far. It must continue, and the goal in China will once again be to fight for a podium. We have our chances, even if in China I’ve never had many… Last year, I was hit at the first corner, so it won’t be difficult to do better this weekend! \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab Malaysia was a pretty crazy Grand Prix with a good result for the team. We are therefore quite confident for the Chinese GP and our competitiveness on all terrains gives us good hopes. \u00bb<\/p>\n
For the moment, our two cars have finished in the top 4 at each Grand Prix, so we want to fight for a podium again. It’s strange to go to China in April, it was always later in previous seasons, and it might be less hot than usual. Last year I didn’t score any points, but things have changed and I hope to at least finish in 7th place.<\/p>\n

Shanghai is a track that offers a very wide range of corners and it is therefore difficult to choose settings. You can neither favor speed nor grip. From another perspective, with corners 12 and 13, we must have a very good balance. The corners are long, fast, and impose certain demands, especially with respect to tire wear.
