Since the 2009 season, the FIA has made public the weight of the cars, with the fuel load easily calculated, following the Saturday qualifying session.<\/p>\n

Here is the weight of each qualifying car for the Bahrain Grand Prix, sorted in ascending order. In addition, the exact amount of fuel has been added as well as the driver’s position on the starting grid of the race. This is to observe the different strategies:<\/p>\n

The top ten on the starting grid are those with the least fuel, and it’s Glock’s TF109 that contains the least amount of fuel. A few exceptions are notable, such as Fisichella or Webber, but the latter should have found himself a little further up the grid if not for Sutil’s mishap.<\/p>\n

The drivers who stalled in Q2 have a lot of fuel, this is particularly the case for Heidfeld and Kubica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
