As every post-race Sunday, Motors Inside offers you its ranking, which takes into account the consistency of the drivers since the beginning of the season.<\/p>\n
Each driver receives a point according to their reverse order of finish, provided they have crossed the checkered flag. In case of retirement, they receive no points. The first receives 22 points, the second 21, the third 20, and so on. The 22nd, if there is one, will therefore receive only one point.<\/p>\n

This week in Bahrain, there was only one retirement, that of Kazuki Nakajima. He is therefore the only one not to score any points.<\/p>\n
The standings are still dominated by the two Brawn drivers, with Jenson Button ahead of Rubens Barrichello (86 points against 76). In the end, there are few changes since 19 drivers scored points this week, so only the finishing position counts.<\/p>\n
Timo Glock is still 3rd with 71 points. His 4th place at the Sakhir circuit boosts Lewis Hamilton to 4th place (+2 places) with 63 points, just ahead of Mark Webber (60 points, -1 place). One point behind, Fernando Alonso and Jarno Trulli (+4 places) are tied in 6th position. Nico Rosberg and S\u00e9bastien Bourdais (-1 place) are 8th and 9th, while Nick Heidfeld (-5 places) drops to 10th place with 49 points.<\/p>\n
With his good results in the last two races, Sebastian Vettel (+2 places) is gradually climbing up the ranks. He is now 11th, just like Kimi R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen in 12th position with 39 points. S\u00e9bastien Buemi, in 13th, loses 2 places while Nelson Piquet, in 14th, gains two places with his 10th place in Bahrain. Heikki Kovalainen and Giancarlo Fisichella (-1 place) are both in 15th position with 29 points.<\/p>\n
Further behind with 23 points, Felipe Massa remains at the bottom of the standings, unable to score significant points. Just like Adrian Sutil (-1 place), Robert Kubica (+1 place), and especially Kazuki Nakajima (-1 place) who is in last place with only 11 points.<\/p>\n
