With the characteristics of this track, Bridgestone offers the Hard and Soft ranges of its compounds.<\/p>\n<p>These are turns 3 and 9, taken at very high speed, which will likely cause the most wear on the tires, with the front left in particular being under more strain than the others. The Friday morning practice sessions will be crucial in determining which compound to prioritize for the race on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><b>Hirohide Hamashima &#8211; Director of Bridgestone Motorsport<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Barcelona is a track with an average level of abrasion and roughness, but the requirements in terms of tire longevity lead us to deploy the hardest compounds. The front left tire will be heavily stressed on this circuit. Teams and drivers will have a significant challenge to turn this characteristic into an advantage here.
