With his contract with Williams ending at the end of the year, the former GP2 champion has made it clear that he is aiming for a winning car for next year.<\/p>\n
For Rosberg, the situation is clear: if Williams fails to improve the car to fight for victories in the second half of the season, Rosberg will leave Grove at the end of the year. The German revealed earlier in the year that only the possibility of a fresh start due to the new regulations convinced him to stay with Williams in 2009.<\/p>\n
However, with only 4.5 points scored in the first 5 races, the future with Williams seems to darken, despite the good relationships he maintains within the team.<\/p>\n

In the past, Rosberg allegedly refused a great opportunity to join McLaren Mercedes shortly after Fernando Alonso decided to leave the Woking team at the end of the 2007 season. Although he was very interested in this transfer, Rosberg decided to stay with Williams.<\/p>\n
