The improvements will be the numbers 1 and 2, in diamonds, for drivers Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Vodafone McLaren Mercedes is delighted to announce the continuation of their partnership with Steinmetz \u00bb, said Martin Whitmarsh.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Having become the creators of the world&#8217;s finest diamonds, Steinmetz is a top-notch international partner, and we hope for a long and fruitful cooperation with them. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I think every Formula 1 driver really cares about the design of their helmet \u00bb, added world champion Hamilton.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab My helmet is yellow because my father wanted to be able to see me clearly when I was racing karts from the other side of the track, to check if everything was going well for me. I have hardly changed the colors of my helmet since because I love it that way. I will wear the Steinmetz diamond number 1 on my helmet in Monte-Carlo next weekend, which is a great way to commemorate the most prestigious race on the Formula 1 calendar, and also my favorite circuit. I want to say thank you to Steinmetz for this very amazing design.
