Since the 2009 season, the FIA has made the weight of the cars public, with the fuel load easily calculated, following the Saturday qualifying session.<\/p>\n

Here is the weight of each qualifying car for the Bahrain Grand Prix, sorted in ascending order. Additionally, the exact amount of fuel has been added, as well as the driver’s position on the starting grid for the race. This is to observe the different strategies.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that those with the least fuel are the drivers who participated in Q3 during qualifying or those aiming for Q3, like Hamilton who has little fuel. Vettel has almost no fuel and is only 4th on the grid. In contrast, Button and Barrichello will ensure the show tomorrow at the front of the pack since they are ranked 1st and 3rd and have more than 40kg of fuel each. Far behind the majority of drivers present in Q3.<\/p>\n

Finally, two other drivers stand out. Bourdais (14th) has a lot of fuel, and Glock, whose car reaches 700kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
