Jenson Button is ready to extend his contract with the Brawn GP team as he has a sensational 2009 season. The British driver has been leading the World Championship since the season opener in Australia. He currently has fifty-one points to his name and is ahead of his Brazilian teammate, Rubens Barrichello.<\/p>\n
Button won five out of six races in 2009, so he is in a more than comfortable position. According to Brawn GP director Nick Fry, the team and the driver are eager to continue this relationship in the coming seasons.<\/p>\n
\u00ab Jenson has been with us for a very long time, we have had failures and we have had successes, \u00bb commented Fry through his spokesperson.<\/p>\n
