Fernando Alonso will travel to the Netherlands, specifically to Rotterdam, in August for a demonstration of his Formula 1 car, the Renault R29, on the city streets as part of a racing event.<\/p>\n
It was Nelson Piquet who was in the Spaniard’s place a year ago. Alonso will therefore travel through part of the city, including the Willemsbrug bridge, the main avenue of Coolsingel, and will pass near Hofplein park.<\/p>\n

In 2008, over 500,000 spectators came to admire the R28 of the era. Alonso is delighted to participate in this event, especially as he will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year.<\/p>\n
