{"id":24264,"date":"2009-06-12T12:44:58","date_gmt":"2009-06-12T12:44:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/8038-fifteen-new-teams-were-remain-in-competition"},"modified":"2009-06-12T12:44:58","modified_gmt":"2009-06-12T12:44:58","slug":"8038-fifteen-new-teams-were-remain-in-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/8038-fifteen-new-teams-were-remain-in-competition","title":{"rendered":"Fifteen new teams were and remain in competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The FIA has revealed that it has received 15 applications from new teams for the next Formula 1 season.<\/p>\n<p>Following the announcement that Campos Grand Prix, F1 Team US, and Manor Grand Prix were indeed registered unconditionally to participate in the 2010 championship, the FIA also revealed that discussions are ongoing with other teams in case current teams decide to leave Formula 1.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement released Friday by the FIA: \u00ab Since the FIA opened its registrations for the 2010 Formula 1 World Championship, it has received 15 potential applications from new teams. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab All entries have been studied in detail to ensure that the new teams meet the required standards in terms of financing, resources, experience, and technical expertise to compete at the highest level of motorsport. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Three of these teams have been confirmed for 2010, but talks are still ongoing for other potential entries.<\/p>\n<p>The FIA also revealed details about the three new teams.<\/p>\n<p>Campos Grand Prix will be based in Madrid, while its technical center will be the current GP2 team&#8217;s facility in Valencia. It will be powered by Cosworth, and its car will be built by Dallara.<\/p>\n<p>Manor Grand Prix will see its cars manufactured by Wirth Research Limited with former team principal Nick Wirth acting as technical director.<\/p>\n<p>US F1 Team will indeed be led by Ken Anderson and Peter Windsor and will be based in Charlotte, United States.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The FIA has revealed that it has received 15 applications from new teams for the next Formula 1 season.
