With the focus at the end of this week on the British Grand Prix, it is becoming increasingly unlikely that Force India will install a KERS on its 2009 cars, the VJM02.<\/p>\n
The team based in Silverstone intended to start using Mercedes’ kinetic energy recovery system at the Nurburgring in Germany, but Adrian Sutil now admits that the first KERS will certainly not be installed on one or even two cars for the next two races.<\/p>\n
\u00ab If the team’s performance analyses on this KERS turn out to be accurate, it does not seem to be of much help, \u00bb the German driver said Tuesday for Auto Motor und Sport<\/i>.<\/p>\n
Sutil added that using the KERS either in Great Britain or in Germany would be quite simply too early.<\/p>\n
The commercial director of the team, Ian Phillips, confirmed the information by stating that Force India prefers large aerodynamic updates rather than other significant changes.<\/p>\n
