Marco Gracia, the director of the Spanish Federation of Motor Sports, expressed caution about the future president of the FIA (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de l’Automobile). According to him, Max Mosley might run in October to be re-elected as the head of the organization.<\/p>\n
After the agreement was reached between Ecclestone (FOM), Mosley (FIA), and di Montezemolo (FOTA – Team Association) regarding the 2010 Formula rules, the situation worsened again last week following awkward statements from FOTA.<\/p>\n
According to Max Mosley, the FOTA and more specifically Luca di Montezemolo (Director of FIAT and Ferrari) allegedly made some negative remarks about him in the press. Mosley is expecting a letter of apology, or even a press conference to make amends; otherwise, he threatens to continue as FIA president until things are clear and resolved.<\/p>\n

I don’t want the sport and the Spanish reputation to suffer. I am here primarily to defend the Spanish Federation and Spanish motorsport! \u00bb<\/p>\n
