While some teams and drivers are enjoying the 3-week break away from the tracks, no fewer than 6 teams will participate in the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed. The event, which takes place over 3 days, is a very popular annual celebration of motorsports and will once again benefit from the presence of reigning F1 world champion, Lewis Hamilton.<\/p>\n
Although his start to the season is far from his expectations at the wheel of an unruly MP4\/24, Hamilton will have the opportunity to drive a winning car, the famous 1988 MP4\/4 turbo which allowed Ayrton Senna to claim his first world title. The 24-year-old Briton will perform some demonstrations on the Goodwood circuit and may also do some laps behind the wheel of last year’s McLaren, the swift MP4\/23.<\/p>\n
Each time I go to the McLaren Technology Centre, there are two cars I like the most: the first is the McLaren F1 and the second is Ayrton’s MP4\/4, declared Hamilton.<\/p>\n
