Michael Schumacher has begun his preparation with the aim of being fully ready for the Formula 1 European Grand Prix next month.<\/p>\n
The seven-time world champion will replace Felipe Massa in Valencia while the Brazilian continues his recovery following his accident at the Hungarian Grand Prix last weekend.<\/p>\n
Schumacher visited the Ferrari factory in Maranello yesterday, where he worked on a static simulation to check the steering wheel features.<\/p>\n
The German settled into an F2007 in which he is conducting tests on the Mugello circuit today since 11 o’clock.<\/p>\n
Schumacher admitted that he would try to cover as many kilometers as possible before his return, even if it means driving old cars.<\/p>\n
\u00ab There is this ban on testing in Formula 1, so I got in touch with some F1 guys to see if they could give me a car, \u00bb Schumacher wrote on his website.<\/p>\n
