It has now been six days since Brazilian Felipe Massa was seriously injured after his accident during the qualifying session of the Hungarian Grand Prix in Formula 1. The Ferrari driver suffered a head trauma coupled with a concussion.<\/p>\n
Operated on Saturday night a few hours after his crash at over 190 km\/h, Massa is recovering day by day. Placed in an artificial coma for the first two days to prevent brain damage and avoid suffering, Massa can now talk, get up, walk for a few minutes, and see! The main concern was with his left eye. The Ferrari driver was severely affected, suffering from a fracture of the eyebrow ridge. Opened after three days, his left eye was not damaged and he seems to have no lasting effects (nor memories, for that matter) from the accident. As a result, he will be able to leave the hospital next Monday according to the doctors. He will then leave the AEK center in Budapest to go to S\u00e3o Paulo in Brazil.<\/p>\n

Professor Saillant notably took care of Mickael Schumacher’s accident 10 years ago when he broke both legs at Silverstone.<\/p>\n
