With Campos, Manor, USF1, and likely a fourth team replacing BMW, the Indian driver is looking for a race seat and could very well return after half a decade of absence.<\/p>\n<p>He participated in 19 Grand Prix races in 2005, with a fourth place at the United States Grand Prix in Indianapolis. Since his time with Jordan-Toyota, the driver from Chennai, who is now 32 years old, has conducted tests for Williams, as well as races in the A1 Grand Prix and in the Le Mans Series category.<\/p>\n<p>Narain Karthikeyan scored five points for Jordan in 2005: \u00ab I am still young and I believe I have a few more years to prove it, \u00bb he explained to the Indian news agency IANS. \u00ab My managers are looking for opportunities. There are more seats available next year, but that&#8217;s all I can say for now. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>He did not confirm if one team stood out from the others: &#8220;I don&#8217;t know all the details but hopefully my managers will find something for me,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;There is a recession in the United States, so the budgets are low. It is better not to have plans for racing in this part of the world like with the Le Mans Series category.
