\u00ab He is ignorant about Formula 1, \u00bb Piquet said. \u00ab Being inferior to me wasn’t enough for him. He doesn’t understand what’s happening with the team. If you listen to the radio when he’s on the wall, it’s a joke. He has no idea what’s happening during a race. Sometimes, he wonders if a driver has slick or wet tires when it’s obvious. \u00bb<\/p>\n
\u00ab Everyone knows that his ego is bigger than anything else, and he displays it shamelessly. You can be a very good businessman, but managing an F1 team is another thing. When I started, he attended all the meetings and briefings, but outside of that, he made remarks that made no sense. \u00bb<\/p>\n
The only good thing the team can be satisfied with is its good relationship with the FIA and Bernie Ecclestone. Other than that, he doesn’t know what’s going on. He’s a bit like my sister who knows nothing about the car. Pat Symonds is the guy who really understands what’s going on with the team, he continued.<\/p>\n
