The driver holds his super license in the tricolor colors and supports his nationality in front of the media.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, to a Swiss daily on Sunday, Grosjean explained: \u00ab I was born in Geneva but I am French in motorsport. It is France that has always supported me, Switzerland has never helped me. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab If you look at my career, after my victory in the Swiss F3000, I went to France because it was the FFSA (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Fran\u00e7aise du Sport Automobile) that supported me. Later, Renault backed me, and without the support of the French brand, I wouldn&#8217;t have been able to continue my career&#8230; \u00bb he concludes in the newspaper <i>Le Matin<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>To simplify, Grosjean, born in Geneva, has dual nationality &#8211; Franco-Swiss or Helvetic-French &#8211; but has chosen to represent the colors of France in his racing career.
