Williams doesn’t have much hope for Saturday’s qualifying, but ideally, they would like to get a car into Q3.<\/p>\n

\u00abThe most important task today is to find a compromise between top speed and grip, and it’s not easy to achieve an optimal level of downforce. We were very slow on the straights this morning, so it took us time to find a good solution. The tires are also very important, and we conducted good tests. Despite some progress, it will be difficult for us, and it won’t be a good weekend. To replicate the performance in Spa and get into the top 10 in qualifying, it would take a “heroic” lap!\u00bb<\/p>\n

Although we are not expecting a great performance here, today wasn’t too bad. Certainly, compared to Spa, I think I will be more competitive on this circuit, even if it’s too early to predict tomorrow’s qualifying. We have worked hard and we are trying to find a positive direction to be competitive. The main priority is to maintain this progress tomorrow.<\/p>\n
