The organizers of the Singapore Grand Prix have made modifications to the circuit layout for the second edition of this Grand Prix. The Marina Bay track, which hosted the first night race last year, has been altered in several areas to improve racing conditions this season.<\/p>\n
Among the most significant changes, a modification of the pit exit has been implemented so that it rejoins the track after the first corner. The pit entry has also been modified and placed before turn 22.<\/p>\n
The organizers also announced that the tarmac of the track has been redone between turns 5 and 7 to reduce the bumps that many drivers complained about last year.<\/p>\n
Here are the other changes:<\/p>\n

– De nouveaux vibreurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9s \u00e0 l’entr\u00e9e des virages 1 et 5.<\/p>\n
– Les angles des virages 13 et 14 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u00e9g\u00e8rement resserr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
– Les deuxi\u00e8mes et troisi\u00e8mes apex (point de corde) du virage 10 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9plac\u00e9s afin de rendre la chicane plus lente.<\/p>\n
– Les vibreurs des trois apex du virage 10 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 redessin\u00e9s pour r\u00e9duire le risque que les monoplaces soient endommag\u00e9es en les empruntant de fa\u00e7on trop prononc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
– Les vibreurs \u00e0 la sortie du virage 14 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9plac\u00e9s 10 m\u00e8tres en aval.<\/p>\n
– Tous les vibreurs en caoutchouc en sortie de courbe poss\u00e8dent des fixations suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p>\n
– Une aire de d\u00e9gagement suppl\u00e9mentaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9e \u00e0 gauche entre les virages 17 et 18.<\/p>\n
