The Singapore Grand Prix takes place on a street circuit and downforce levels soar. Without a doubt, Williams will once again be at the forefront. Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima are ready and even seem to be expecting rain, which is often present in these tropical regions.<\/p>\n

\u00ab The worst thing about Singapore is the heat and the number of turns. There are 23, so there’s never an opportunity to relax. The circuit is difficult, but it’s a track with a lot of downforce, which suits our car, so I hope for a better result than at Monza. It’s just a bit more challenging because visibility is a little less sharp than in broad daylight, but you get used to it quickly, and there are obviously a lot of lights. I think it would be a real challenge if it rained. It was a great weekend last year, I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was just fantastic, and the fact that it’s a night race makes things incredible. The track itself is a lot of fun and is a real challenge. \u00bb<\/p>\n
Kazuki Nakajima – Racing Driver:<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00abSingapore is a very technical circuit because of the various elements you have to deal with. It’s a night race, so you have to get used to a different kind of lighting. It’s a street circuit, so it’s quite slippery at the start of the weekend. There are minimal run-off areas and overtaking opportunities. The track is also very bumpy, especially between turns 5 and 7. Combined with high temperatures and humidity, it will be a very tough race for both drivers and cars. Because of the number of low-speed corners, it’s a track that demands high downforce. That suits us well because our car performs nicely on that kind of layout. Once you get used to the lighting and adjust your visor, it feels like any other race. There were a few corners where the lighting wasn’t strong enough last year, but I’m sure the organisers will have sorted that out for this season.\u00bb<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
