Felipe Massa will once again take the wheel of a Formula 1 car at Mugello in Italy in the coming days. The Brazilian will drive a 2007 car from Ferrari’s Clienti department.<\/p>\n
It was Massa himself who asked his team if another test was possible, while being disguised as Santa Claus in Maranello! And for good reason, along with test drivers Luca Badoer and Marc Gene, they will be giving gifts to the children of Ferrari employees.<\/p>\n
\u00ab I wanted to return to a Formula 1 car before the end of the year, so I am taking advantage of my presence in Maranello to carry out these tests. I want to thank Ferrari for giving me this gift. \u00bb<\/p>\n
Having fully recovered from his head injuries sustained at the Hungarian Grand Prix, Massa made his return behind the wheel of a Ferrari (F2007) fitted with GP2 tires at Fiorano in early October.<\/p>\n
He then drove this year’s F60 for a few demonstration laps during the ‘Ferrari World Finals’ event in Valencia last month.<\/p>\n
