Nick Wirth from Virgin Racing confirmed that Lucas di Grassi will race alongside Timo Glock with the new team next year. After Manor GP finally unveiled its new name, the new logo and drivers were presented on Tuesday during a launch in Notting Hill, London.<\/p>\n

Although Glock signed his contract with the team several weeks ago, di Grassi was only recently hired by the team after testing for Renault during the ‘young driver’ tests in Jerez. Di Grassi joins a Formula 1 team as an official driver after four seasons in GP2 and some F1 experience through his role as a test driver for Renault.<\/p>\n

\u00ab It’s great to be here, it’s a dream come true for me after two years as a test driver and in GP2, I feel that I am ready and I am very confident in this team, \u00bb said Di Grassi. \u00ab We are here for racing, there’s no politics to adhere to. We are here for the race. \u00bb<\/p>\n

The sporting director of the team, John Booth, declared that he was thrilled with this lineup: \u00ab I have 20 years of experience with drivers. I have had the privilege of working with some fantastic drivers and I hope that has helped me to secure a good driver. The four drivers we have here are the four we wanted in our lineup; they are the perfect drivers. \u00bb<\/p>\n
