The Ferrari team has implemented a new initiative aimed at finding and helping young drivers who are particularly motivated to race in Formula 1. The program, known as the ‘Ferrari Driver Academy’, will see a group of selected drivers being supported throughout their career, not only in racing but also in their personal and professional development.<\/p>\n
The Ferrari engineer and former strategist Luca Baldisserri will be the man in charge of managing this project, in which the Italian motor sport authority, ACI-CSAI, will be a significant contributor.<\/p>\n
The Formula 3 Euro Series champion, Jules Bianchi, was the first driver selected for this program. The Frenchman had already tested for the team in Jerez earlier this month.<\/p>\n
