Pedro de la Rosa has hinted that he might reduce his involvement with the GPDA (Grand Prix Drivers’ Association) now that he has secured a racing seat. The Spaniard, who was a test driver at McLaren for seven years, became the president of this organization two years ago and has held the position since then.<\/p>\n
However, he is now returning to race for BMW-Sauber and he thinks he will not have enough time to do his job properly within the GPDA: “I don’t know yet. I haven’t made a decision,” he told journalists at the Valencia circuit. “We need to talk among the members of the GPDA.”<\/p>\n

So it’s something I need to discuss with the board and the various members. My personal opinion is that we need someone who is fully involved and committed.
