Spanish Jaime Alguersuari confessed that his goal for the near future, or even before the end of the year, was to move to Toro Rosso’s sister team, Red Bull Racing.<\/p>\n
The young 19-year-old driver joined the small Faenza team last summer, replacing S\u00e9bastien Bourdais. Although he shone in his first race, finishing ahead of his teammate Buemi, Alguersuari did not often see the finish line in the following races and ended the year with a 14th place as his best result.<\/p>\n
This year, after long negotiations with Toro Rosso, Jaime’s father stated that only the good words from Helmut Marko, Red Bull consultant, about his son allowed him to have a new chance in Formula 1. This provided motivation and a strong desire to do well for Jaime in 2010, who reveals that his goal is to do things right and be an asset for Toro Rosso.<\/p>\n
